In this high temperature environment, especially when working on the cooler, the metal fiber laser cutting machine needs to always pay attention to safety. Primapress hereby reminds everyone to pay attention to the important matters of the chiller.
Possible problems with the chiller
- Compressor overload warning light alarm. Poor heat dissipation will cause the condenser’s condensing temperature and the corresponding condensing pressure to be too high, so that the high-pressure part of the pressure controller works and protects the compressor from overload. The shutdown of the compressor will affect the normal use of customers. The cooler should be placed in a place with good ventilation and heat dissipation.
- The pressure gauge is abnormal. When the refrigerator is operating normally, the high pressure pressure should not be greater than 2.0MPA. If this pressure is exceeded, the condenser will dissipate poorly. The solution is to clean the dust on the condenser fins with high-pressure gas. Equipment without a pressure gauge will regularly clean the heat dissipation of the condenser. The low pressure should not be less than 0.2MPA. If the pressure is lower than this, it means that the condenser is leaking fluorine or the throttle is dirty.
- The cooling effect is reduced. If the water tank is not cleaned for a long time, the evaporator in the water tank will cause poor heat exchange and cold exchange due to microorganisms, thereby affecting the cooling effect. Please clean the water tank regularly and change the water frequently. Usually, the pure water is replaced once a month, and the water tank must be cleaned (cleaned with detergent) to ensure that the water quality of the cooler is clean.
- Water pressure alarm. The water pressure is normal at about 0.3MPA, and it will cause flow alarm output when it is abnormal. In order to avoid the abnormal flow of the chiller, please check the filter element and the internal filter of the water tank regularly for dirt and blockage.
The way to solve the metal laser cutter machine chiller problem
The cooler is not cooled: Observe whether there is a compressor overload display on the cooler control panel.
Display: Usually compressor overload under 3 conditions, high pressure overload, low pressure overload and current overload.
①. If the pressure controller reset button cancels the compressor overload display, it can be judged as high pressure overload.
There are several reasons for high voltage overload. The fan does not rotate, the solenoid valve does not open, the equipment does not ventilate, the heat dissipation is poor, and the condenser is dirty.
Troubleshooting: Place the chiller in a well-ventilated place with good heat dissipation. Use about 1MPA of atmospheric pressure to blow dust onto the condenser fins, and then observe whether the high-pressure pressure of the compressor after working is lower than 2MPA, the fan does not rotate and the solenoid valve is stuck This is an accessory problem, just replace it.
②. Observing the pressure gauge, the high pressure and low pressure are both lower than 0.2MPA, which can be judged as low pressure overload.
Similar to this situation, the fluorine system of the equipment must leak fluorine.
Troubleshooting: pressure the equipment to check for leaks, repair after finding the leak, empty, pressurize, add oil, add fluorine, add fluorine according to the weight on the nameplate, and professionals can add fluorine according to the pressure.
③. If the compressor overload display is cancelled by the thermal overload reset button, it can be judged as the current overload.
Cause of failure: Current overload means that the compressor current exceeds the rated current and has an overload protection function. Under normal conditions, only insufficient compressor phase and high ambient temperature will cause current overload.
Troubleshooting: Improve the working environment and check the reasons for the lack of phase of the compressor. First, check whether the three-phase resistance of the compressor is normal (three-phase balance, the resistance is about 5Ω), whether the compressor is abnormally disconnected, and check whether the compressor pipeline is in contact It is defective, and whether the AC contactor lacks phase.
No display: Observe whether the compressor is working without displaying the compressor overload.
①Work: Pay attention to work pressure. When the compressor is working, the high pressure and low pressure are close to balance, and the fan blows cold or slightly hot air. It can be judged that the solenoid valve card or the compressor is broken; the high pressure is normal and the low pressure is low. It can be judged that the expansion valve adjustment is too small, dirty, blocked, damaged, dirty evaporator surface, and low conversion efficiency.
②Not working: Check whether the output of all electrical components of the compressor AC contactor is normal. For example, the AC contactor of the compressor of the 7HP equipment has a normally open point output by the intermediate relay 1 for delay, and the delay time is normal for the compressor AC contactor, the AC contactor output to the press, and any electrical equipment. If the output is abnormal, it can be judged whether the electrical equipment is damaged.
After displaying for a few seconds, it will automatically reset. The fault is generally that the expansion valve is adjusted too small or the expansion valve is faulty.
Troubleshooting: Adjust the expansion valve to the maximum position (decrease in the clockwise direction and increase in the counterclockwise direction) to see if this failure occurs. If the fault has been eliminated, observe the low-pressure operating pressure to see if it is normal. At that time, the pressure will be too high. If the pressure is too high, adjust the expansion valve downward. If there is no response when adjusting the expansion valve, it means that the expansion valve is broken and you only need to replace one.
No display after the device is powered on
First observe the working indicator of the phase sequence relay. If only one indicator light is on, it means that the three-phase electrical connection has been reversed. Just replace any two phases of the power supply. If both indicator lights are on and the controller still does not work, check whether the normally open point of the phase sequence is energized. If there is no power, the phase sequence is interrupted and needs to be replaced; if there is power, please check whether the power supply of the controller is powered. If the electric controller does not work, it means that the controller is damaged. If there is no power, please check whether the power cord from the phase sequence normally open point to the controller power supply is faulty. If there is a problem, replace the power cord.
Flow alarm
A flow alarm indicates that the flow is insufficient and the flow switch has been activated.
There are usually three reasons for the failure: 1. The external resistance is too large, the return water flow is very small, and the alarm setting is too large. This failure can be solved by adjusting the flow switch. 2. There is air in the pump. Troubleshooting: If there is a power failure, please unscrew the drain screw, and then tighten it after the water overflows. 3. The filter element and internal filter of the water tank are dirty and blocked. Troubleshooting: Replace the filter element and clean the water filter.
Water level alarm
Water level alarm is an alarm method caused by insufficient water level in the water tank. When a water level alarm occurs, first observe whether the water in the water tank exceeds the water level switch. If not, fill up with water. If the water level exceeds the water level switch and alarm, please check if the water level float is stuck and move it several times. If an alarm is issued, it means that the water level switch is damaged or the controller is damaged.
Overheating alarm
An overheating alarm has occurred. Generally, the current temperature is higher than the upper limit of the alarm value or lower than the lower limit of the alarm value. After an alarm occurs, first check whether the water temperature in the water tank is consistent with the temperature displayed by the temperature controller. If they are inconsistent, it indicates that the controller or temperature control probe is faulty and needs to be replaced. If they agree, observe whether it is an ultra-high temperature alarm or an ultra-low temperature alarm. According to the first troubleshooting method that the cooler is not cooling, handle the ultra-high temperature alarm step by step, and check the cooling condition of the compressor to check whether the ultra-low temperature alarm is correct and whether it is disconnected. No disconnection. The factory setting of the ultra-low temperature alarm set by the controller is 4 degrees, and the ultra-high temperature is 35 degrees. If the ambient temperature is higher than 35 degrees or lower than 4 degrees, an over-temperature alarm will also appear.
