Maintenance and upkeep of sheet metal plate fiber laser cutting machines
1: Replacement of water and cleaning of water tank for sheet metal plate fiber laser cutting machines
Suggestion: Clean the water tank and replace the circulating water once a week.
Attention: Before the machine starts working, make sure that the laser tube is filled with circulating water.
The water quality and temperature of the circulating water directly affect the service life of the laser tube. It is recommended to use pure water and control the water temperature below 35 ℃. If the temperature exceeds 35 ℃, the circulating water needs to be replaced. (It is recommended that users choose a cooling machine or use two water tanks).
Cleaning the water tank: First, turn off the power, unplug the water inlet pipe, and let the water in the laser tube automatically flow into the water tank. Turn on the water tank, remove the water pump, and remove any dirt from the water pump. Clean the water tank thoroughly, replace the circulating water, restore the water pump back to the water tank, insert the water pipe connecting the water pump into the inlet, and tidy up the joints. Turn on the water pump separately and run for 2-3 minutes (to fill the laser tube with circulating water).
In winter in northern regions, if the temperature is very low, it may cause the water inside the laser tube to freeze. Antifreeze can be added appropriately to prevent water from freezing, which may cause the laser tube to break.
2、 Fan cleaning for sheet metal plate fiber laser cutting machines
Long term use of a fan can accumulate a lot of solid dust inside, causing significant noise and hindering exhaust and odor removal. When the suction of the fan is insufficient and the smoke exhaust is not smooth, first turn off the power, remove the inlet and outlet pipes on the fan, remove the dust inside, then invert the fan and pull the fan blades inside until they are clean, and then install the fan。
3: Cleaning of lenses for sheet metal plate fiber laser cutting machines
(It is recommended to clean before work every day, and the equipment must be turned off.)
There are three mirrors and one focusing mirror on the engraving machine (the first mirror is located at the emission outlet of the laser tube, which is the upper left corner of the machine, the second mirror is located at the left end of the crossbeam, the third mirror is located at the top of the fixed part of the laser head, and the focusing mirror is located in the adjustable mirror tube at the bottom of the laser head). The laser is reflected and focused through these mirrors before being emitted from the laser head. Lenses are easily contaminated with dust or other pollutants, causing laser loss or lens damage. When cleaning lenses 1 and 2, do not remove them. Just carefully rotate the wiping paper dipped in cleaning solution along the center and edge of the lens. The No.3 lens and focusing lens need to be removed from the frame and wiped using the same method. After wiping, they can be reinstalled in their original state.
Attention: 1. The lens should be gently wiped and the surface coating should not be damaged; 2. The wiping process should be handled gently to prevent falling; 3. When installing the focusing mirror, please make sure to keep the concave surface facing downwards.
